Resources Available to Citizens, Businesses and Local Leaders Now on Website

BATON ROUGE (June 8, 2010) - The state of Louisiana has compiled a list of resources available to the public on the state's Emergency response website, www.emergency.louisiana.gov.

The site, which includes information for individuals, small businesses and city and parish leaders, contains resources ranging from how to get immediate food aid and baby supplies to how to file a claim with BP. Additionally, the site includes information on environmental concerns, how to report oiled wildlife and more.

The state will continue to update the site, which can be found at www.emergency.louisiana.gov/resources.html. If you have a resource that may be helpful to those in need, you can submit it to lindsey.deblieux@la.gov for the state to consider if it should be added to this directory.
