Tangipahoa Parish Update
HAMMOND , La. (September 4, 2008) - The Tangipahoa Parish government released the following announcement today.

Tangipahoa Parish Emergency HOTLINE - 985.748.3211

Tangipahoa Parish will begin distributing “Blue Tarps” as soon as they are made available by the state.Tarps will be distributed only to those residents with need as a result of storm damage.

Parish wide curfew is CANCELLED.

Parish Government offices will reopen on Monday September 8th.

Tangipahoa Parish School Superintendent Mark Kolwe announced Wednesday that all Tangipahoa Parish public schools will resume classes Monday, Sept. 8.

A precautionary boil advisory remains in effect in Tangipahoa Parish
