Lafourche Parish Update: Food Stamp & Blue Roof Program Locations Set
LAFOURCHE, La. (September 10, 2008) - Those seeking food stamps for disaster relief can apply today at Larose-Cut Off Middle School on LA-1 in Larose from 8:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.  Anyone can apply.  If you were already receiving food stamps before the storm, you do not need to re-apply.  For more information, call 1-888-LA-HELP-U (1-888-524-3578). CORRECTION: Food Stamp Applications will NOT be available at Peltier Park.

Those looking to apply register for Operation Blue Roof can do so at the fire station located at 691 Hwy. 308 in Thibodaux from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. A secondary branch is also open at the Galliano Annex located at 101 W. 112th Street in Galliano from 8:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.  For more information, call 1-888-ROOF-BLU (1-888-766-3258).
