Tropical Storm Warning in Effect for Lafayette Parish
LAFAYETTE, La. (September 11, 2008) - Tropical storm force winds from 40 to 50 mph with gusts to 65 mph will be possible by Friday morning. A tropical storm wind warning is in effect through Saturday morning. These winds will result in power outages, trees blown down and roofs damage to homes and businesses.

All persons in Lafayette parish should make appropriate preparations now, especially those in mobile homes and travel trailers.
