Louisiana Emergency Site Adds RSS Feed
BATON ROUGE (September 11, 2008) - Louisiana's emergency information site, emergency.louisiana.gov, is adding an RSS feed to allow individuals and news agencies to receive automatic updates when news is posted online.

Using an RSS reader on their computer or mobile phone, individuals can access news automatically without visiting the Web site. News agencies can place the RSS feed on their Web sites so news is automatically displayed.

For the latest information on Hurricanes Gustav and Ike, visit emergency.louisiana.gov or call the state's emergency hotline at 1-866-288-2484 to listen to a recorded message with the most up-to-date information.
